387 focuses across six roots — the Howard-era Coalition path, the Labor Party path, a short authoritarian "Suppress Free Speech" branch, a sprawling Ministry of Foreign Affairs (split below into Near Neighbours, Asia & the China/Taiwan fork, and Global/Middle-East politics), Australian Industry, and the Army/Navy/Air branches under the ADF. Almost every flavor event in events/05_australia.txt is a payoff of a specific focus, so the two are read and reported together here.
